Denise completed her four year Bachelor of Legal Studies (Paralegal) at Capilano University in 2016. During her degree, she gained experience in all aspects of paralegal work.
Since completing her studies she has worked as paralegal to Max and Alison in insurance defence matters.
Denise is committed to continual learning in her chosen profession and brings to her practice enthusiasm, life experience and a keen interest in the area of law in which she has chosen to practice.
Jo Bulmer, Paralegal

Jo joined Sound Law as a Paralegal in 2019. She brings to her practice over 10 years experience in both plaintiff and defence work in the areas of personal injury and general civil litigation.
Jo has a Master’s degree in history from the University of Edinburgh and in 2016 completed her litigation Paralegal diploma at Vancouver Community College. Jo has worked in many areas of litigation and particularly enjoys conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and preparing files for trial.
In addition to her work as a Paralegal Jo also works as an Apprentice ACMG rock guide in the sea to sky corridor. Outside of the office she is most happy climbing in the mountains and enjoying the Squamish lifestyle with her friends.
